An Aseprite theme for all you 1-bit pixel artists!!

This is a full reskin of the user interface containing new icons, buttons, sprites, and behaviors, all with just two colors! (okay, there's a necassary third color but it's used sparingly)

I always enjoy Aseprite themes that completely change the look of the program, and FYI I promise the eye as a mascot was a complete coincidence and not infringing on Kacper Woźniak's Aseprite 95 theme in any way, please don't sue me >w>

This extension contains two three color schemes!

  •   4am - A warmish palette made for this theme that's meant to have a cozy aesthetic and be softer on the eyes.

  •   Monitor Glow - A more traditional 1-bit palette with higher contrast and a slightly green tint that simulates the feel of an LCD monitor at night. (From here)

  •   Playdate - A new version that's themed with the colors for the Playdate console (From here), and is probably the most mainstream application for 1-bit pixel art, so I'm excited to finally have a theme for something that seemed so obvious!

The easiest way to switch between them, is located under Preferences > General:

Btw you gotta own Aseprite first either on Steam or Itch.io.  I ain't made of money

This is great, thanks so much :] any chance u could release a version with just black (rgb000) white (111) and red highlights (100) — or point me in the direction to make this variant myself?

If you wanna do that, just:

-unzip the file

-pick which color variant to edit (they have minor sprite differences)

-open theme.xml in notepad

-CTRL+F to replace every instance of the white (#e6d4be), black (#352b30), and red (#f6437b)

-open sheet.png, use the paint bucket tool with contingency turned off to replace the same UI colors, and that should be it ´∇`
